Sweetest Tradition

"On the birthdays of my kids’ great-grandparents, we eat that grandparent’s favorite dessert and talk about them. So, on January 10 we have pistachio ice cream (Grandpa Ivan’s favorite), and on February 4 we have strawberry shortcake (Grandpa Bob’s favorite), and on April 11 we don’t have sour cream raisin pie because it’s disgusting, but we do have pie and reminisce about Grandpa Ora.
